For Halloween Night: Instead of Candies Give Hot Chocolate Instead

Are you looking for something creative to do on Halloween?

This will be GREAT for those of us that live in cold states!!!

Have you thought of holding a hot chocolate stand? This is a great idea to get family, friends and neighbors together in one place. It’s also a great way for your kids to learn entrepreneur skills! Find out everything you need to know about holding a hot chocolate stand on Halloween.

First, you will need some sort of table or something else to put the hot chocolate on. You could even use plastic storage bins or scaffold if you happen to have it. Try to make it look festive with a Halloween themed tablecloth (or simply use a piece of fabric or anything else you have on hand that can substitute as a tablecloth.)

Next, you will need to make a sign. Make sure that the words are big enough so they can easily be read. I love to use the glitter glue from the Dollar Tree because it really stands out. Now you will need to position your sign at an adults eye-level. Some people do this by attaching it to broom handle or some sort of stick or rod and then attaching that to the side of your “stand” with duct tape or something else that will hold it.

Don’t forget the decorations! People will be much more interested in seeing what you have to offer if it looks colorful and festive. You could place miniature pumpkins on each corner of your stand (this will help keep your tablecloth from blowing away, too) or some sort of fall décor if Halloween isn’t your thing. You could even make a maple leaf garland to celebrate fall.

Finally, get your supplies out. You will need Styrofoam cups, stirrers, napkins and your hot chocolate.

Have you ever held a hot chocolate stand? What ideas do you have to make it a success on Halloween?
