My hubby and I met up with Dave Ramsey when we were at BlissDom and he is the author of “The Total Money Makeover” book among many others!! Of course I’m the one taking the picture!
I’ve heard of Dave Ramsey but didn’t take much notice of who he was or what he was trying to do. A blogging friend of mine told me that Dave Ramsey was going to be hosting the Frugal Bloggers again this year and to have them come over meet with him, watch him live while he was doing his show and have a tour of his building. WOW! It was one of the highlights of BlissDom for me.
I want to thank Dave Ramsey, Katie, and of course Martha for the wonderful refreshments!! Thank you again y’all! I’m hoping to tell you in a few years that WE ARE DEBT FREE!!
And we didn’t come away empty handed either.
Our hope, as we embark upon our Total Money Makeover journey is that you too will be inspired to become DEBT FREE.
My hubby read “The Total Money Makeover” book in 2 days! There are not many books that hold his attention unless of course, it’s The Bible. I, on the other hand, just finished it a few days ago. I believe the real key to our journey of becoming DEBT FREE is that we are on board TOGETHER!! It’s just not HIM or ME. It’s both of us!
Now that we have a game plan, we have noticed that there are a lot of people/friends/married that are in the same boat if/not worse. We are hoping that they can be awaken to the reality that there is financial hope. But first, you must educate yourself.
We are called to be good stewards with our money, so that in the end you will be able to save more for the future, maximize your savings, and give like crazy.
Lastly, I hope that our journey will inspire, encourage, and help you get started on your own your own journey of becoming DEBT FREE. Check out daveramesy.com to get your head start into becoming DEBT FREE and having financial peace.
Then head on over to my hubby’s post: A Trip, An Encounter, and A Book to read his side of our story.
